DUAL MEET TEAM FREESTYLE WRESTLING TOURNAMENT

March 19, 2000 - Owatonna JuniorHigh School – 500 15th St NE, Owatonna, MN

Weights: Midget 55, 65, 75, 85 Weigh-in: 10-11 a.m.

Novice 70, 80, 90, 100 Wrestling starts: 11:30 a.m.

Schoolboy/girl 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 145

Note: Weight classes for the year 2000 are subject to change.

Rules:

A. Each team may have three alternates.

B. There will not be a weight allowance for Sunday events.

C. Each team will be allowed no more than two coaches at matside during team matches.

D. Each club must provide the following for each team entered:

1. One certified official

2. One table worker

E. Individual match lengths will be TWO 1-1/2 minute periods for midget and TWO 2 minute periods for novice and schoolboy/girl.

F. Tie Breakers

1. Team tie breaker criteria:

a. Total wins in the round robin.

b. The most falls, technical falls, and forfeits in the round robin.

c. Dual champions.

2. Dual match tie breaker criteria:

a. The most falls, technical falls, and forfeits.

b. The total match points.

c. The most five pointers.

d. The most three pointers.

e. The most two pointers.

f. The most one pointers.

g. The first match won or forfeit.

G. Pairings will be blind draw .

H. Entry fees will be $100 per team.

• TEAM AWARD: Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. Individuals on teams placing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th will receive medals.
