Mike Thorn is a senior wrestler at St. Michael-Albertville and over the weekend he was fabulous.

Thorn captured the 125-pound title at the annual Christmas tournament. He won 5-matches, four of them by pins as he lead the Knights to the team title.

The two-time state champ is 12-0 this year with 11-falls.

"I believe the pin, the Minnesota pin record is 40 falls in a season, and I'm trying to shoot for maybe 41. That's kind of a goal of mine," says Thorn.

Thorn's Christmas tourney title is the third in his career. He's heading to the Gophers on scholarship next fall
