The Hi flyer wrestling program is entering its 24th season and has developed into the premiere kid’s wrestling program in the state. The Hi Flyer club is considered by many to have the best coaching staff in the Nation. The staff works with the kids at all practices and then coaches and monitors their progress at weekend competitions.

2008 Hi Flyer Wrestling

When: Begins March 6th at 5:45 PM. We will register and practice the first night at SMTA High School (Directions).

Where: Saint Michaels-Albertville (STMA) High School

Who: All interested wrestlers from ages 5 to 17

Cost for ONE CHILD:$120 or $90 if you already have your Mn/USA Card

Cost for TWO CHILDREN from the SAME FAMILY: $115/$85 per Child

Cost for THREE or more CHILDREN from the SAME Family: $110/$80 per Child

For Bantams and below the season will last 9 weeks leading up to the state freestyle tournament. For Midgets on up, those competing in the Northern Plains will practice through to Northern Plains. See schedule on our website.

 

We will run three age groups this year:

K thru 3rd: See Schedule for times

3rd thru 7th: See Schedule for times

7th thru 12th: See Schedule for times

 

Additional Practices

Leading up to USA Folkstyle Nationals and NYWA State, we will offer Mat Wrestling Mondays. Our coaches will work on folkstyle mat wrestling from 6:30 to 7:45 so that kids are ready for the top and bottom position as they get to Nationals. The cost of the 3 additional practices will be $10/Child. No sign up is necessary. All proceeds will go to coaching and facilities use.
